Today’s weather: Mid-40s, no rain

Police notes
Victim has minor injuries in knife attack
An aggravated battery and aggravated assault was reported at 11:43 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, in the 600 block of Nebraska Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victim and suspects got into an argument that turned physical, according to the report. The victim tried to flee but the suspects pursued, the report stated.
The suspects then pulled out a knife and cut the victim, according to the report. The victim had minor injuries, and the suspect fled before officers arrived, the report stated.
Armed robbery reported on North 31st
Suspects took property from a victim, then shot at the victim in a robbery at 2:04 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, in the 1800 block of North 31st Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victim was not injured, according to the report. The suspects fled, and two were taken into custody a short distance away, the report stated. One suspect was not apprehended, according to police.
Domestic assault reported
An aggravated domestic assault case was reported at 10:06 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. A victim and suspect began arguing, the report stated.
The suspect became upset and pointed a gun at the victim, and then the suspect shot at the victim. The suspect fled, and officers later located the suspect and arrested him, according to the report.
