Victim of homicide on Holt Lane identified

The victim of a homicide on Saturday, May 25, in the 1600 block of Holt Lane has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.

The victim was Aaron Johnson, 32, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, police stated.

Police officers responded to a report of a shooting at 10:41 p.m. May 25, according to the spokesman.

When they arrived, officers found a man who had been shot, the spokesman stated. Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department personnel also responded and confirmed the victim was dead.

The case is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

Victim of homicide on South 71st Terrace identified

The victim of a homicide on Friday, May 24, in the 600 block of South 71st Terrace has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.

The victim was Regina Hill, 34, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the spokesman stated.

Police responded to a call about a shooting at 2:51 a.m. May 24 at the location, and found a woman who had been shot, the spokesman stated. Emergency personnel from the Fire Department confirmed that the victim was dead.
