A job fair, “Get Hired – Kansas City” Career Expo, continues through 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the Reardon Convention Center, 520 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
The expo is free and open to the public. More than 90 employers will be present.
Those job-seekers who attend should dress for a job interview and bring copies of their resumes.
After a dense fog advisory on Thursday morning, temperatures will rise to a high of 74, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday, there will be a 30 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m., with a high near 71, the weather service said. It will be breezy, with a south wind of 15 to 22 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Winds may gust up to 33 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 39, according to the weather service.
Sunday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 62, the weather service said.

A shooting at an occupied vehicle in the Walmart area parking lot near 108th and Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas, was reported Wednesday night.
According to a social media post by the police chief, the victims were sitting in their car in the parking lot when an unknown person began shooting at them. The vehicle was hit several times.
When they left their vehicle, the victims were shot at again by the suspect, according to the police chief. The suspect then fled.
