Accident reported at I-35 near 18th Street

Drive-by shooting reported
A drive-by shooting was reported at a house in the 1200 block of North 14th Street overnight, according to Kansas City, Kansas, police.
A police spokesman stated the call came in to police around 1 a.m. Nov. 19.
No one was injured in the shooting, and no one is in custody at this time, the police spokesman stated.
BPU to meet Monday, Nov. 19
The Kansas City, Kansas, Board of Public Utilities will meet Monday, Nov. 19, instead of Nov. 21.
A work session will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5 p.m. at the BPU administration building at 540 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
On the agenda for the work session at 4 p.m. are a board update, general manager update, and 2019 capital projects.
On the agenda for the regular meeting at 5 p.m. are a visitors’ time, APPA awards, board comments, general manager comments, and a closed, executive session.
Meetings are open to the public.
