Police have identified the victim of a homicide on Sunday night in the 500 block of South 12th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
Police said the victim was Vincent S. Trulson, 27, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas.
Police responded to the shooting scene about 8:45 p.m. Aug. 5 and discovered that Trulson had been shot, the spokesman stated. He had life-threatening injuries, and was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to police.
The homicide is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit, which is asking anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
The heat index in Wyandotte County could range from 100 to 103 today, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
The weather service advised caution when outside today.
