Police investigate homicide on North 75th Drive

Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide about 1:30 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 1400 block of North 75th Drive.

According to a police spokesman, officers arrived and saw a man about 30 years old, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

The identity of the deceased victim will not be released, pending positive identification and family notification, the spokesman stated.

The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

New driver’s license office opens in KCK

A new driver’s license office has opened at 155 S. 18th St. in Kansas City, Kansas.

The location is in a medical office building, and it has 2,000 more square feet than the old location at 63rd and Parallel Parkway, which has been closed. It opened in mid-August.

There will be more space for customers to wait and take tests in the new office. Also, there are six driver’s examining stations in the new office.
