If the background of the cover of the fall issue of the Eastbay sports apparel and shoe catalog featuring Kansas City Royals All-Star catcher Salvador Perez looks familiar, there’s a reason.

The photo along with other pictures was shot at the baseball complex at Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Taking advantage of an off-day, Perez spent a couple of hours this past summer at KCKCC where he was photographed in numerous poses on the playing field and in the Athletic Department’s weight room. In addition to those photos, Perez is shown showing off his world championship tattoo in the dugout and sitting on the steps of the Field House.

There’s also a feature story recounting Perez’ role in leading the Royals to the 2015 world championship. Hitting .364 as the Royals defeated the New York Mets in five games, Perez was named the World Series Most Valuable Player.

Eastbay features a variety of sports apparel and shoes for several sports. Copies of the August catalog can be obtained by calling 1-800-826-2205.
