• A fire was reported at 7th and State Avenue on Tuesday morning.

Sporting KC awards to be presented Saturday
Sporting KC’s 2016 team awards will be presented at the club’s Pitch Black celebration on Saturday in Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City, Kan.
The event is open to Sporting KC supporters of all ages at a dinner and dance, along with the awards presentation, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets start at $285 and go up to $2,895. The event begins with a meet-and-greet of Sporting KC players and coaches.
A silent auction will benefit the Victory Project.
