The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two persons.
Jamon Marshall, 19, and Jamaul Holmes, 18, have active arrest warrants out of Wyandotte County, according to a police spokesman.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the two is asked to call 911 or the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, according to police.
They should be considered armed and dangerous, a police spokesman said.
An injury-accident was reported at 7:15 a.m. today on I-35 southbound, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
According to the trooper’s report, a semi driven by a 67-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was southbound in the left lane on I-35 near Johnson Drive in Merriam when it was unable to brake in time and hit a Honda passenger car.
After the impact, the Peterbilt semi also struck the center concrete barrier, according to the report.
The driver of the Honda, a 28-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man, was injured and taken to a hospital in Johnson County, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the semi was not injured, the trooper’s report stated.
Cool temperatures will remain in place today, before a warming trend returns Friday and through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible Friday morning south of the Missouri River, the weather service said.
