Demolition at Indian Springs Shopping Center at 47th and State Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., was nearing completion this week. The mall was built in 1971 and the demolition started in February of this year. BPU to meet June 16

The Board of Public Utilities will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the BPU offices, 540 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.

There is no work session before the regular meeting June 16. Also, the meeting has been moved from the regular Wednesday meeting date to Thursday that week.

After a time for visitors, there will be a 20/20 Leadership update, a Wyandotte Economic Development Council update, approval of the BPU personnel code, net metering policy approval, board comments and general manager comments.
