BPU to meet Wednesday
The Board of Public Utilities will meet on Wednesday, April 20, at the BPU offices, 540 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
On the agenda for the work session at 5 p.m. are a board update and general manager update, and a report on the employee handbook.
On the agenda for the regular meeting at 6 p.m. are a visitors’ time, KMEA appointments, update on water main replacement projects, board comments, general manager comments, and a closed executive session.
KCK school board to hold special meeting Thursday
A special meeting of the Kansas City, Kan., Board of Education will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the board room on the third floor of the KCKPS Central Office and Training Center, 2010 N. 59th St., Kansas City, Kan.
The board plans to hold a workshop about the Kansas City, Kan., Public Library and an update on the bond issue timeline, along with regular business.
