The victim of a fatality accident on Dec. 4 in the 2500 block of Central Avenue has been identified.
Police said the victim was Zakaree Covington, 26, a resident of Kansas City, Kan.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit-Critical Collision Response Team. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
Police today released more information about the person who died on Dec. 4 in the 900 block of North 34th Street.
The 32-year-old resident of Kansas City, Kan., is believed to have died from self-inflicted wounds, according to autopsy findings, police said.
A Bonner Springs, Kan., man, Arnulfo V. Ramirez, 32, was killed in an accident today on a westbound I-435 and K-10 highway ramp in Lenexa, Kan.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, Ramirez was westbound on the ramp from I-435 to K-10 about 3:56 a.m. when his Mitsubishi car lost control in the rain.
The vehicle spun to the right, exited the roadway and hit a bridge pillar, the trooper’s report said.
