Someone in northeast Kansas is $1 million richer today.
According to the Kansas Lottery, one Powerball ticket sold in northeast Kansas matched the first five numbers last night and is worth $1 million.
The winning numbers in the Oct. 10 Powerball drawing were 8-23-27-42-60 Powerball 7. The $1 million ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball.
No ticket matched all numbers in last night’s drawing, so the jackpot for Oct. 13 has rolled to an estimated $314 million, with a $179.4 million cash option.
Mega Millions is also up, with a jackpot at $548 million, or $309 million cash option, for Friday night’s drawing.
